• The Tamron SP 24-70mm F/2.8 Di VC USD G2 is a second-generation standard telephoto zoom lens for Canon and Nikon full-frame DSLR cameras.
• This lens features a constant aperture of f/2.8 throughout the range, improved Vibration Compensation (VC) technology, a minimum focus distance of 0.38m, an ultrasonic focus motor for quiet and fast AF operation, and a moisture-sealed construction.
• The optical formula comprises 17 elements in 12 groups, including 2 XR (Extra Refractive Index) elements, 3 LD (Low Dispersion) elements, 3 GM (Glass-Molded aspherical) and one hybrid aspherical lens element, and an iris diaphragm with nine rounded aperture blades.
• The lens has a lock switch to prevent zoom creep, a zoom ring with a rubberized grip, a focus ring with a distance scale, and an AF/MF switch on the side.
• The lens comes with a petal-shaped hood and a soft case.
